Cinema Politica presents the Canadain premiere screening of Popaganda: The Art and Crimes of Ron English
7:30 pm at Concordia University (Rm. H-110, 1455 De Maisonneuve).
Admission is free, and following Pedro Carvajal’s celebrated film will be a Q & A with both Carvajal and Ron English, who will be in Montreal to launch the finished cut.
Popaganda follows the work of internationally renowned culture jammer Ron English, who has redefined political art by taking over more than one thousand billboards across the United States with his satirical, and sometimes shocking, artwork.
After the film screening and discussion, join us for the launch of überculture's newest project: überbrü. Pitchers of the hemp amber ale will be availble for $10, and many prizes are to be won, including tickets to see K'naan and Tumi and the Volume on September 29.
