David Fennario revisits the characters and Pointe-St-Charles setting of Balconville 25 years later and finds that the neighbourhood has changed drastically through gentrification.

Wendie Bouie performs unplugged versions of songs from her Home Again CD opening for Johnny Eden at The Yellow Door (3625 Aylmer, near Pine in the McGill Ghetto).

Solidarity Across Borders presents:
FILMS AND PHOTOS ACROSS BORDERS
An evening of songs, images, and reflection on migrant struggles in Montreal.
Featuring a special audio and slide-show presentation of photos from the No One Is Illegal March on Ottawa, the premier screenings of films shot on the march by indymedia activists, first-hand accounts from refugees, immigrants, and other activists involved in Solidarity Across Borders and music from Ensemble Acalanto (traditional Chilean music), DJ Static and DJ Leila P.
La Sala Rosa 4848 boul. St-Laurent (metro St-Laurent, bus 55 north). 8pm. Entry by donation ($5 recommended).
